About Benjamin Franklin:
Benjamin Franklin was a famous scientist who was born on the 17th of January, 1706 in Boston. He died on the 17th of April,1790. His father's name was Josiah Franklin and his mother's name was Abiah Folger. Benjamin's father wanted him to enter the clergy but instead, Benjamin became a scientist. He made lots of important discoveries, one of them was electrical charges.
His Discovery about Electrical Charges:
Benjamin Franklin discovered a law of electrical charges called the Law of Charges. The Law of Charges is that like charges ('+' and '+' or '-' and '-') repel each other and opposite charges ('+' and '-') attract each other. He also discovered that protons, neutrons and electrons have charges. He discovered that protons have positive charges, electrons have negative charges and neutrons have no charges (neutral)
